A Tribute to Champions: New Panigale V2 MM93 and FB63

Ducati has introduced two brand new versions of the iconic Panigale V2: the MM93 and FB63. As you might have guessed, the models pay tribute to Ducati's star MotoGP riders Marc Marquez and Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia. Each numbered special edition model is designed with unique liveries and enhanced track performance upgrades to capture the spirit of Ducati's Lenovo team riders.

The Panigale V2 MM93 celebrates Marquez's first test as an official Ducati rider, his legendary "todo rojo" debut. A striking red livery forms the base behind his racing number 93, along with the MM93 eye-catchingly displayed on the fairing. In the same style, the Panigale V2 FB63 works from Bagnaia's signature black and red helmet design. His racing number 63 along with his motto "GoFree" take centre stage. Both bikes simultaneously capture Ducati and rider in one beautifully motorsport-focused package.

While the looks are the aspect that catches your eye, both of these special editions are geared towards sharper, faster track performance. They're powered by the new 890cc 90 degree V2 engine, and this lightweight twin-cylinder machine produces 118bhp and 93.3Nm of torque, with 70% of that torque available at 3,000rpm. With a number of weight-saving additions, such as the five-spoke aluminium wheels inspired by the DesmosediciGP, it makes this bike the lightest ever Ducati twin.

In terms of handling and riding feel, the monocoque frame sourced from the Panigale V2 S serves as the base for each special edition, forming the perfect racing foundation. Adjustable Ohlins steering dampers, low-mounted clip-ons and a taller racing windscreen put the finishing touches on the bike's hardware. If that's not enough, there's a racing exhaust kit that can boost your output to 124bhp and cut another 4.5kg of weight. Just like the base Panigale V2, both the MM93 and FB63 come with Ducati's state-of-the-art electronics suite; this includes cornering ABS, traction and wheelie control, a quickshifter, engine brake control and multiple riding modes. Everything can be navigated from a sharp five-inch TF screen. Between kit and equipment, it really brings together the motorsport feel that's so important for these editions.

Most importantly, what do the namesakes think of their new editions? Marquez described his edition as "incredibly light and easy to ride", while Bagnaia shaved two-tenths off his best lap after just a few sessions on the track. The Panigale V2 MM93 and FB63 will be available from March 2026, so get ready to snap them up to be one of the lucky few who will own these icons of Ducati racing icons.
