We are a credit broker and not a lender. Finance is subject to status and finance company acceptance. We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and their finance products. We will typically receive a commission from the lender, as either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage on the amount you borrow. The commission we earn does not change by the type of finance. A guarantee may be required. The finance rate will vary dependent of customer personal circumstances for in dealership purchases.
Home delivery is free if you live under 30 miles from the dealership where the vehicle is purchased. Any subsequent delivery cost is calculated at an additional £1 per mile over and above 30 miles.
Home delivery is only available Monday - Friday and across mainland England, Wales, and Scotland (subject to the delivery location being accessible). The following locations are excluded from Home Delivery: Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Orkney Isles, Outer and Inner Hebrides, Western Isles, Shetland Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, and Channel Isles.
In order to protect against fraud (including identity theft) the following process will be followed:
- Customers are required to provide sight of their driver's licence prior to Home Delivery either (at Vertu Motorcycles' absolute discretion) (i) by video call with the supplying dealership; or (ii) by prior arrangement in person at a local Vertu Motorcycles dealership.
- Home Delivery will be to the customer address on the Vehicle Order Form which must match the address on the customer's driver's licence.
- The vehicle will be driven to the customer address by the supplying dealership (or its agent).
- Delivery of the vehicle will only be to the named customer and their driver's licence must be available to be re-checked on delivery.
On successful payment of the reservation fee, we will reserve your chosen vehicle (the Vehicle) for you for up to 48 hours (the Reservation Period) to enable you to speak to one of our sales advisors. If you make a telephone or dealership appointment within the Reservation Period, we will reserve the Vehicle for you until the time of your appointment, and extend the Reservation Period until your appointment. If you have not made a telephone or dealership appointment with the selling dealership within 48 hours to discuss the Vehicle, or you do not attend an agreed appointment within 7 days, the Reservation Period will end, your reservation may be cancelled and your reservation fee will be refunded to you.
There is no obligation on you to buy the Vehicle, or on us to sell the Vehicle, as a result of payment of a reservation fee. When we receive the reservation fee in cleared funds, we will reserve the Vehicle for you and prevent its sale to a third party for the Reservation Period. You will receive a confirmation email when the reservation is effective. If you do not receive a confirmation email then your reservation has not been effective so please contact us.
There may be circumstances when the Vehicle has already been sold (before your reservation fee is paid) but the website has not yet been updated. If this occurs, your reservation will be cancelled and we will contact you to confirm this, and to see if we can locate an alternative vehicle for you. Your reservation fee would be refunded.
If you do not make arrangements with the dealership within 48 hours to discuss the Vehicle, or do not then attend an agreed appointment within 7 days of payment of the reservation fee, the Reservation Period will end, your reservation may be cancelled and your reservation fee will be refunded.
If you attend a telephone or dealership appointment to discuss the Vehicle, and decide not to proceed, the Reservation Period will end. If you purchase the Vehicle at that appointment, your reservation fee will be retained by us as part payment towards the Vehicle, and will be treated as a deposit on the Vehicle. If the Vehicle is not suitable, and you do not wish to purchase it, your reservation fee will be refunded to you.
We may cancel your reservation if you have reserved more than 2 vehicles at any one time or if the Vehicle is withdrawn from sale for any reason. Your reservation fee would be refunded in either case.
Any refunds can only be paid by the same method as the original payment and to the same card and will be paid within 7 days of request or cancellation of your reservation (or you confirming that you do not wish to purchase the Vehicle).
We are not responsible for any loss or damage for failure to comply with these terms that is outside of our control or for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable, and shall have no liability for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
Vehicles within manufacturer warranty at the date of service will be serviced in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's requirements. Vehicles no longer within manufacturer warranty at the date of service will be serviced in accordance with Vertu Motorcycles requirements.
The service offer covers the provision of labour and parts for the vehicle service but excludes:
1. the cost of spark plugs or fuel filters;
2. the replacement of any parts that wear out as a consequence of use and which would normally be expected to be replaced periodically, for example (but not limited to), brake pads and discs, wiper blades, tyres, clutch friction facings, cam belts, suspension components, DPF filters and brake fluid changes; and
3. any other work identified as part of a vehicle health check at the time of the service.
Any service performed does not constitute a warranty of any kind and will not cover the replacement of parts which suffer a mechanical failure.
All intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright, trade marks, design rights and database rights, both registered and unregistered) in this website and its contents belong to Vertu Motors plc or one of its group or affiliate companies, or its licensors, or are otherwise used by Vertu Motors plc as permitted under applicable law. No usage rights of any of this website or its contents are licensed to you unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.

This prize draw is provided by BMW (UK) Ltd. Please read these terms and conditions carefully prior to participating in this prize draw. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

1. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom. All entrants to the prize draw must be aged 21 years or over and have a full valid Motorcycle Licence.
2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person.
3. To enter the prize draw you must, within the dates set out in clause 4 below:
a. complete and submit online the dedicated prize draw entry form at https://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/en/experience/season-start-2024.html or, if attending a BMW Motorrad Retailer Roadshow event before 14 October 2024, provide a completed BMW Motorrad Retailer Roadshow event form to the BMW Motorrad representative on the day you attend the event, and
b. take a test ride on any new BMW Motorrad Model.
4. The opening date for entries is 00:01 on 1 March 2024. There are 2 closing dates:
a. The closing date for submission of the online prize draw entry form is 23:59 on 14 October 2024. Online entries received after this time will not be considered.
b. Your test ride, and completion of the BMW Motorrad Retailer Roadshow event form if attending a Roadshow event, must be completed by close of business on 31 October 2024. Entries will not be considered if the test ride, and Roadshow event form if applicable, has not been completed by this time.
5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault (technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure) of any kind.
6. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7. Employees and agents of the Promoter or any associated companies of the Promoter, their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with this prize draw are not allowed to enter the draw.
8. The Promoter will not accept entries that are completed by third parties, are in bulk, illegible, have been reconstructed, forged or are incomplete.
9. The Promoter may require you to provide evidence of your eligibility.
10. Entries cannot be returned.
11. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw. Delay or failure to provide the evidence to the Promoter�s reasonable satisfaction may result in an entry being void or a prize being forfeited.
12. One winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process on 31st October 2024.
13. The winner will receive 1x new 2024 BMW R 1300 GS TE motorcycle with the GS Trophy style package from a BMW Motorrad Retailer selected by the Promoter. With no accessories, added options, insurance or road tax.
14. The prize is for the named winner only and cannot be given or transferred to any other person.
15. Unless stated otherwise in these terms and conditions, the prize excludes insurance, road tax, fuel, gratuities, telephone calls, taxes, further personal expenses, and anything not expressly included in the prize.
16. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered and the prize is not transferable.
17. The winner will be notified by 6 November by 5pm and informed about the details of the prize.
18. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 5 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner�s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
19. The Promoter�s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
21. The Promoter must either publish or make available details of the surname and county of residence of prize-winner(s). To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the name and county of the prize winners to anyone who emails BMW Motorrad or writes to the registered address of the Promoter (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date of the prize draw.
22. The prize will be provided to the winner by a BMW Motorrad Retailer. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Data protection and publicity:23. By entering this prize draw, any personal information provided by you with your prize draw entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer this prize draw. You can amend or withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details in clause 26. Further information on how we process personal data can be found in BMW UK�s Privacy Policy.
24. If you are the winner of this prize draw you agree that the Promoter may use your surname, image and town or county of residence to publish or make available, the winner and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. If you object to any or all of your surname, image, town or county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Customer Service on 0800 777 155 or by sending an email to [email protected]. We will still be able to provide your name and county to the ASA if required.
25. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in this prize draw.
26. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the Promoter and the entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
