Honda CB125F Review

We're taking a closer look at one of the most popular Honda bikes, the Honda CB125F.

If you are looking for an affordable and economical bike, look no further than the Honda CB125F.

First introduced in 2015, it was brought in to replace the CBF125 – Honda's best-selling bike in the UK since 2008.

Since its release, the CB125F continues to be a best-seller and is a staple among riding schools and commuters alike.

Honda CB125F performance

The single cylinder four-stroke engine produces 10.7 BHP and a maximum torque of 10.9Nm. You can reach top speeds of 65mph which makes it ideal for both city riding and motorway cruising.

After a recent facelift, the Honda CB125F is now 11kg lighter which really shows when you steer into a turn.

Honda CB125F engine, gearbox, and exhaust

While the Honda CB125F retains the same four-stroke single cylinder engine as its predecessor, that’s about it.

It’s now been updated with a range of additions to improve the low to midrange torque and fuel economy. New additions include Honda’s latest fuel injection system, a revised cylinder head and exhaust system.

You can also easily switch between gears on the five-speed gearbox using the gear position indicator.

Although the price point of the Honda CB125F is lower, you get a decent amount of equipment for your money.

As well as LED headlights, you also get a speedometer, milometer, fuel gauge, and gear position indicator.

The Honda CB125F is extremely economical to run, making it a great choice for commuting and longer rides. With a large fuel capacity of 13 litres and an average fuel consumption of 152mpg, you can ride up to 440 miles between visits to the pumps.

All Honda bikes are also covered by a two-year manufacturer warranty giving you extra peace of mind. There’s also the option of extending this by one or two years, with no mileage restrictions.
