Honda NT1100 Gains New Suspension, Paint and Boosted Performance

Honda's class-leading NT1100 tourer continues to evolve for 2026, building on its reputation as Europe's best-selling touring motorcycle. Following the comprehensive 2025 update which boosted mid-range performance and comfort, the 2026 NT1100 and NT1100 Electronic Suspension models gain a new colour option, Iridium Gray Metallic, while retaining the refinements that made the latest generation a standout success.
The headline feature remains the introduction of Showa's Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa-EERA) system, which is available on the NT1100 Electronic Suspension variant. The advanced setup automatically fine-tunes damping in real time based on information from the bike's six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), speed sensors, and suspension stroke data. Riders can select from Urban, Tour, Rain, and User modes, with the Tour mode providing firm damping for high-speed touring and the User mode allowing precise customisation. Rear spring preload can even be adjusted on the move through 24 increments, ensuring the perfect setup for solo or two-up riding.
Underpinning the technology is the NT1100's proven 1,084cc parallel-twin engine, producing 75kW and 112Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual or Honda's refined Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Cornering ABS, traction and wheelie control, and multiple riding modes are governed by the IMU, delivering exceptional stability and confidence.
Practicality has always been central to the NT1100's appeal, with standard-fit panniers, a redesigned one-hand adjustable windscreen, heated grips, and a 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It's also a favourite model for taller riders. With its balance of agility, comfort, and cutting-edge suspension technology, the 2026 NT1100 range cements Honda’s prowess in modern touring performance.
