Honda Toasts Double Isle of Man TT Success With Fireblade

Honda celebrated a return to winning ways at the 2025 Isle of Man TT after claiming a double victory in both Superstock TT races with the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.

Dean Harrison scored a runaway victory in both Superstock TT races to deliver Honda its first wins on ‘The Mountain’ since 2015.

The Bradford racer was also responsible for three further podiums over the course of the week with a third place finish in the Superbike TT and a second place in each Supersport TT race aboard a Honda CBR600RR.

“Words can’t describe it, I’m absolutely over the moon to get my two wins in the Superstock class,” five-time TT race winner Harrison said. “Massive thanks to the whole team, all at Honda and everyone have put a brilliant bike together and it’s great to see the Honda Fireblade in P1.

Havier Beltran, Honda Racing UK Team Manager, added: “To win with it here at the birthplace of Honda’s competition story, aside from our year-round competition programme, is amazing.

“It just shows that what we’ve got as a base bike is pretty incredible, and for Dean to do what he’s done here with it is testament to that. And testament to all the hard work that he and the team have put in to help develop it to where it is. It’s great to see as a manufacturer.

Honda is the most successful manufacturer to have competed at the historic Isle of Man TT.

Since its inaugural race in 1907, the Japanese manufacturer has notched up 189 victories with a rollcall of winners that includes the TT’s most successful riders, Michael Dunlop, Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness.

The iconic road racing festival comprises a 37-mile blast around the Snaefell Mountain Course – more colloquially known as simply ‘The Mountain’.

More than 30 per cent of the lap is spent at full throttle with speeds reaching over 200mph on some stretches, despite races taking place on slender closed public roads lined by homes, walls and nature.

The 16min 36.114s lap record around The Mountain converts to an eye-watering average speed of 136.358mph.

Extraordinarily, the layout has changed surprisingly little over the past century, the route celebrated as a raw challenge that demands a delicate balance of speed, precision and durability from both man and machine.

It makes winning at the TT is one of the world’s foremost sporting achievements, a coveted status that has assured the Fireblade’s legacy over the years as an elite sportsbike for both road and track.
